Coffee Talk Tuesday #114

Why, hello there. It seems like Tuesday has come again — as it does. Grab a cup and let’s share a chat.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I have careers on my mind. I’m planning a local career tour for my students, and am engaged in 1:1 meetings with them, where they are taking an assessment about multiple intelligences, to determine possible career paths. I love this stage of exploration — sometimes, the assessment points students in a new direction, and seeing them work through the possibility is exciting.

Helping others with their possible career paths makes me think of my own trajectory. I’ve had multiple jobs at the same time for as long as I can remember (except for my very first job, which was bagging groceries at the local Giant when I was 15). I like being busy and productive. I like having multiple things to consider, and multiple ways to be creative. My mind races constantly, and I’m dreaming up the next possibilities and chapters. One of my students commented (without prompting) on my multiple jobs and said “I want to do that, too” which was super cute and unexpected.

Speaking of all the things happening, if we were having coffee today, I’d give you an update on the fun challenges I’m participating in or hosting:

Challenges Update

  • 25 Days of Buti – Hosted by Buti Yoga, I’m participating @ctownyogi on insta #25DaysofButi LOVING all of the creativity with this challenge
  • HOSTING – 12 Days of Flexmas – free facebook group (also posting on insta @fitwithaundra) #12DaysofFlexmas Are you participating?!

If we were having coffee today, I’d share a few things that have inspired me this past week. Just about everything posted by mantra magazine on insta has been giving me the feels. I like checking myself (I will constantly ask husband to do this, but he’s pretty good on calling me on my shizz), and mantra posts things that can be hard to swallow, but so good for reflection. It’s tough to admit you’re wrong. It’s tough to accept criticism. It’s tough to move on and let past things go. All of this contributes to growth and development. I like to improve, to be the best version of myself, to shed layers.

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I’m SO excited to announce my next Virtual Fit Series! This is a 2-week series, and will cover all the FWA class option bases – Buti, Turbo Kick, HIIT/FWA signature classes, insanity, PiYo, and “body” barre. This is the most complete virtual fitness series I’ve ever offered.  I’ve kept all the workouts short (20-30 min), so you can get it done and enjoy time with your loved ones over the holiday.
More information and the link to paypal/register here: Virtual Fit Series.

Have a great week!
