It’s Tuesday! Grab your cup and let’s start talking.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m getting ready for a whirlwind month. May is always full of things and it’s birthday month! I love celebrating my (our!) birthday. Husband’s birthday is one day after mine, so we like to take a trip to celebrate. He’s starting a new job this month, but our birthdays always fall around Memorial Day, so a long weekend trip is in order! We’re gearing up for lots of weekend plans– I’m taking students to the Discovery Fest at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, we’re attending my brother’s college graduation, I’m attending a Hip Hop Step workshop for certification, and more.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that a new month means an updated fitness schedule. Check out all the changes to the schedule here. I love getting the opportunity to shift things and try new times. I’m excited to try combining HIIT and PiYo in the same evening, as well as Zumba and Barre.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d tell you that I’m so very excited to host a 10 Year Teaching Fitness Celebration on Monday! I cannot believe I’ve been teaching group fitness for 10 years. It’s amazing to me. I have a whole story to share with you on the actual anniversary (May 2). My teaching journey has followed my own personal fitness evolution, and I cannot wait to see where the next 10 years take me.

Just getting started on your fitness journey? I’ve written so many posts about this, and want to highlight a few. These are also great reads for someone who feels stuck, or ready to try something new to get those fitness juices flowing:

Also around 10 years ago, I started writing about healthy living. This mostly included food, gardening, and recipes at first, and when I started getting more confident about fitness and teaching, I shifted gears to write mostly about those topics.

If we were having coffee together today, I’d put this out there — what kind of content do you want to see, moving forward? I’m changing my fitness website and want to showcase the material that is most helpful for you. Is it more fitness tips? More fitness videos? Meal prep hacks? What will help make your fitness and wellness life better?

Have a great week, and I look forward to sharing my 10 Year Journey with you!
