New Fitness Schedule

I can feel it in the morning air: the season is getting ready to change. Can you feel it? Maybe I’m just excited for chilled air, tall boots, pumpkin everything, and the start of school.

Or maybe, what I’m really excited about is the start of a new fitness schedule! Yes, that must be it.

Beginning on labor day, I’m scaling my teaching days from 6 to 4, operating only Monday-Thursday. Travel and Saturday work days are heavy in the fall for the ol’ full-time gig, so I’m packing 9 classes into a shorter amount of time.

I love the start of a new fitness schedule!

I’m licensed/certified to teach 4 different formats. Zumba was my first license, then I acquired Turbo Kick, PiYo Strength, and Insanity. And it’s been an insane 5 years of teaching. (Five years!)

I love the way PiYo Strength classes have really kicked off this year — it’s a great time to think about balance, strength, flexibility, and core power. I love the format of this class – it’s all low-impact, but parts are high-intensity so you’re sweating like a normal cardio class but building long, lean muscles using your body weight. It’s awesome.

I’m teaching more Insanity classes, and I couldn’t love the format more — it’s packed into 30 minutes and feels like such an intense, but efficient, workout. I mix it up a lot so your body continues to work hard each time.

Zumba is my fitness teacher baby. I fell in love with teaching while beginning this program. There’s something awesome about donning brightly-colored clothing, mixing up some sweet tunes, and dancing the hour (45 minutes) away with some of the most awesome people.

I love being able to offer these classes to new and ‘regulars’ each week. See you on the floor!
