Coffee Talk Tuesday #26

Welcome to the weekly chat where I spill my guts and try not to spill my coffee. That would be very sad.

This is coffee #2 of the day. Don’t judge, I have a cat who judges me just fine.

Wow, we’re at TUESDAY already! Last week was quite the blur with that little holiday squeezed into the middle-ish of the week.

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that the husband & I (and my brother and sister) ventured to NYC for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade! Johnny and I went two years ago, so we had a plan in mind. It’s such a fun time, and I highly recommend it if you’re on the fence and want to do it! We stayed pretty true to our 2014 plans, except this time we stayed in Secaucus, NJ. The highlight for me is always getting to see the balloons the night before the parade. I do love a good trip to NYC! This year especially, I loved being able to ‘share’ the city with my brother, a first-timer to NYC!

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that we’ve temporarily tabled the kitchen project (I mean, it’s still ongoing, we’re just at a point where saving needs to happen for the next step) and we’ve set our eyes on the living room! Johnny painted the WHOLE thing, and we have a delightful accent wall. I can’t wait to get our Christmas tree and decorate. I love a comfy cozy holiday-decorated living room.

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that I’m in major PLANNING mode. At work, at home, and for my fitness biz. December and January are JAM-PACKED with classes and events, and I’m so excited. The biggest news is that Fit with Aundra is expanding! I’m starting a new class in Centreville – Happy Hour Zumba on Friday nights. I have disco lights and glow sticks, and we’re going to have the best time dancing together! I’m hosting a launch on Friday, Dec. 16 and the class officially starts January 6.

If we were having coffee today, I’d tell you that, in the spirit of #GivingTuesday, I would LOVE for you to donate to Horizons of Kent & Queen Anne’s! This is a life-changing program for the youth of our counties. For 6 weeks in the early summer, a dedicated team of people get together to offer dedicated and attentive instruction during a time when those skills are more likely to be forgotten. This is such a treasured program, and I would be SO happy if you could contribute! Any amount is appreciated.

Related to this cause, I’m committed to dancing in the annual fundraiser gala Dance with the Stars. Team Bowderson (David Bowman and Aundra Anderson) would LOVE your support. All proceeds benefit Horizons! Our special link to donate is here.

Oh my! So much to share. More next week. Much love this holiday season!
