Bliss and Full of Thanks

I know I should express thankfulness year-round. In the balancing act of daily life, it’s easy to forget to be thankful.

I’ve had a lot of reasons to be thankful this past year. I keep saying to those around me that 27 has been, by far, my best year yet.

I’m surrounded by people I love: my fitness crew, my wonderful colleagues, re-connecting with family members, new friends, and an unexpected new blossoming love.

I almost feel ridiculous in all the love I have and feel at the moment. Almost.

Beyond the incredible people in my life, I have my health. Physically, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been, and I’ve been able to challenge my body while also teaching others to challenge their bodies. I love being able to teach and share my passion with others.

I’m grateful to be able to run as much as I do. I ran almost 700 miles this year. Two hundred of those miles were run between July and August alone.

I’m even more grateful for the confidence I have to follow my bliss, change my course, and rewrite my script this year. It wasn’t an easy choice, but has already proven to be the right choice for me.

Spiritually, I’m sound. I find delight in each day, and have grown closer to my source of light. My physical pursuits in running and yoga have helped bring me here.

You guys, I’m so very happy and grateful right now. I’m in love with the moment and even more in love with the possibility of moments to come.
