Current Celebration
Things are gettin’ real in the wedding planning realm. Johnny said to me last night that we’re closer to our WEDDING date than we are to our engagement date. Gulp. 130 Days!
Current Confession
I have a very real obsession with statement necklaces. I think I have 20. And I definitely just bought another one. In all fairness, it’s a totally new color and I usually wear one of these every day!
Current Read
Johnny’s mom gave me her copy of The American Heiress to read and it’s totally filling the Downton Abbey void. The lead character’s name is Cora and she’s from America looking for a titled Englishman. It’s such a guilty pleasure read.
Current Plan
Other than constant wedding planning, my current plan involves determining a race to run this summer or early fall. I love having a race to really pump up the running training challenge. And I need to run 1,000 miles by the end of next May as per my 30 by 30 goals, so I’m looking for a 10-mile race or half marathon to run. Any suggestions?

Current Show
Johnny and I are s-l-o-w-l-y watching the final season of MadMen, our current show obsession. I can’t even stand that it’s almost over. Ok, I know it’s been over for the rest of the world for awhile now, but we seem to only get into shows that are on their last season. We’ll need a new suggestion soon!
Current Want
I want to plan a fun quick weekend beach trip with Johnny in the near future — we just have to figure out a fun, sunny, FREE weekend which is proving tough between now and the end of summer. I’m determined so we’ll definitely do this!
Current Obsession
This shade of essie nail polish – peach daiquiri. I never, ever paint my nails such a bright shade but I’m LOVING this one. And I might’ve just purchased turquoise and caicos for my next shade.
Ooh I love big statement necklaces like that too AND American Heiress has been on my to-read list for a while. Baltimore Running Festival in October is fun or there is the Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach race if you are looking for a fun September race-cation. I also really like the Charles St. 12 that starts near Towson and ends up in downtown Baltimore, 12 miles down Charles St!
